New games compilation from APDL

Posted by Jeffrey Lee on 11:29, 1/12/2005 | ,

APDL have released a new games compilation, The Adventure Games collection. This is a CD containing the following games, all in RISC OS 4/StrongARM compatible versions:
  • Cataclysm

  • Demon's Lair

  • Enter the Realm

  • Haunted House

  • Pandora's Box

  • The Time Machine

  • White Magic

  • The Wimp Game 1 & 2
The CD is available for £14.90 from APDL's website. They're even running a buy 2 get 1 free offer with all their games, so if you see another couple you like the look of then there's no reason not to go for it.

Unregistered user I originally had the Racing Collection as being new as well, but it looks like that was released back in June :)

Unregistered user There will be three more joining the collection in the next few weeks. They're in the final stages now and will almost certainly be available at the RISC OS show in Harrow on the 17th.

Unregistered user Will these games run on RISC OS Adjust? I already own Haunted House on floppy and that doesn't work (nor on RISC OS 4)

Unregistered user I have a ROS4/Select compatible version of Haunted House which I got from 4th Dimension so I would imagine this is that version, in fact there are very few 4D games now that do not run on RISC OS 4 with or without Select installed - cannot speak for Adjust as never used it, but the latest version of Select is fine with them.
