The versions I have are ancient. Almost every piece of software is...

Webster is 0.12 Aug 1995 and ArcWeb 1.75 Feb 1997.

.....

and edit update. Yes! I have finally found a slightly newer web browser - !arcweb 1.87, and that finally allows me online.

I was going to be smart and post on here from it...however....it's not compatible with acorn arcade, struggles with cookies and spotting that I've logged in....

Thanks Paul - and sorry for the confusion. Probably was the damned web browser all along.....now just to find one that isn't old enough to do its GCSEs!!!!

Congrats...

I've got ArcWeb 1.9x on my machine which is AFIAK the last ArcWeb.

If you have RO4 then you can always use Netsurf which I've downloaded to my machine last week big grin

Netsurf versions 1.0 and 1.1 work (I am using 1.1 to post here). 1.2,2.0,2.5,2.6 and 2.8 all tested this evening, and all hang. Lost time destroying my boot (Why there isn't a !bootmerge is beyond me) trying to get the versions to run...

Quite a few get as far as rendering the front welcome page then hang the PC.

But at least I am online and can start downloading some files to get the RISC PC up and running more smoothly!
