Unregistered user Well, I've spoken to D*** A***** a couple of times. He's really enthusiastic - I'm willing to forgive some of Microdigital's PR problems for someone like him. Although my patience is wearing a little f***ing thin. unhappy

I think you're right - he is in hiding. I shouldn't have made that comment about wanting to find him...

They ought to be careful. The new iM*c may well tempt potential O**** customers away. My father is an A***e fan (being a graphic designer type and all) and he's getting fed up with me waiting for the O***, and may offer financial contributions in order to get a computer that actually exists!

As long as you don't say you'll eat him!

Er... I never wrote any obscenity list for the site, the forums were written by Tim (see copyright, page bottom) smile

Of course :-o

And I probably shouldn't say this, but when I added the "Guest" stuff to the news comments, I hand-edited an obscenity out and the poster seemed to think it'd been automatically removed, which I never confirmed or denied wink

Well you've confimed it now!!

I did write a list of Perl regular expressions prior to that for a schools project, which Tim saw though.

[Looks at the calender and tries hard not to make any smart I-told-you-so comments]

The last news item on the microdig website was Friday 30th November 2001. Thas really not good...

It annoys me. God knows I realise the amount of work Microdigital are doing, but letting release dates, and even announcement dates slip this much really isn't on. (Hopefully it'll be soon though - and I can't wait.)

So, John, what's on the menu? Don't let it interfere with your uni work though wink

Wait until I get hold of someone with a camera... smile But yes, it'll have to wait until after my exams, which finish in two weeks.

Hmm, having one of those 'do as I say not as I do' moments though, as this time last year I decided to create a website to avoid revising for my January exams... cool

Erm, yes, I've only just stopped doing that myself! (A Woof! website - it'll probably come in the next few months, as I've got a lot of research to do.)

Unfortunately, one of my assignments was to build my intranet site from tasks on a load of worksheets. It was supposed to be online and all documentation handed in at 3:00pm today. It wasn't. So, the maximum mark I can get now is 40% unhappy

Unregistered user I've just been told off in a TV forum I visit. Apparantly, contributing to a topic called BBC Nudes 24 was dragging down the level of conversation.

I'm so glad I don't do that here. grin

Unregistered user What Omega? smile

I'm going back to Middlesbrough on Saturday, where my Risc PC is. I'll try and get someone with a camera, so give a bit to sort it out. But you will have photographic evidence, as I never go back on promises... unhappy

Now, where does Dave Atkins live?

Unregistered user Erm... I like Christmas Monkey's too smile Although I don't think my family did when I played it to them. I think they think us RISC OS users have too much time on our hands these days.

And BTW, after extensive deliberation, I've already admitted defeat on Risc PC eating. unhappy Curse Microdigital for not making the Omega in time this way! I'll have to get my hands on a digital camera somewhere... and if Microdigital thinks I'm standing up for them anymore, they can go and eat the whole fecking production line!

And who's gonna be first with the punchline on that one? grin

Well, if you think being born in Nottingham, having spent the first quarter-century of my life there, and having to spend about 5 hours travelling back every time I want to see my folks convenient... smile

Same here... unhappy Just off now to catch a nice, hot, stuffy coach. Yay. Mind you, I've got 24-hour internet access now for the next three weeks, so that'll keep me happy for a bit..
