Piccy needs adding on the About page, but that's about it. Portfolio page is a bit bare too - but there's loads of stuff that just needs polishing before adding on there.

Thoughts?

Actually, I would charge less for some jobs - but I don't want people having unrealistic expectations.

What's going on here then?

The three boxes on the top right appear in very funny places in Camino (and presumably Firefox too).

Are those boxes supposed to line up with the image and the horizontal lines (they almost do on the front page)? If not, why not?

Horizontal scrollbar appears if the window is resized much narrower than I've got there.

I thought your previous price was far too cheap :)

Does the two year hosting deal include two years support and maintenance?

Gah - that worked in Firefox before! My last-minute tweaking must have broken something :(

Does the two year hosting deal include two years support and maintenance?
It all depends on the job. In general, not really, although I'd probably do a few things. But each job is different. The £100 figure is really just to indicate that I won't be charging £600 for a small job.

Well, why not charge £600? Then you can do one sixth of the work! :P

How much do you charge for a good, hard, shag?

Nice. I expected to be able to click on the nice large pictures instead of the small text.

THe portfolio links are like http://www.shift-break.co.uk/?q=portfolio/ganymede-titan when http://www.shift-break.co.uk/portfolio/ganymede-titan works fine and looks better.

I personally don't like repeated links with the same text (the "Read more"s) but can't think of anything better apart from make the titles links.

Cool adjustable-size box on the contact page.

From the front page, the 'Read more' bit under the portfolios section takes you straight to the G&T page - it's not particularly obvious that clicking the 'portfolio' heading takes you to a list of other sites.

Methinks you should change your favicon.

And get more sites in your portfolio.

Otherwise... nice!

Is this some bizarre form of "resizeable" which doesn't involve actually being able to resize something, or is it just not working for me?

All the changes now in place. In fact, I was wondering about a lot of them myself - especially the links being the same text, and the problem with the portfolio links.

Portfolio will expand in the next couple of days - I've got two more sites that need adding. Just want to adjust them slightly first.

Ha!

I let that lapse deliberately, as I wasn't really doing SHIFT-BREAK any more, and I didn't want to pay for two domain names. I've long ago left all that alone - so I really should take the proper site down...

Can you retake that shot and get at least one part of image inside the depth of field?

Was never remotely happy with the way that site looked at all, to be honest.

Glad I've left it behind, and am just doing web stuff for fun now.
