Unregistered user My Dad's about to get a new laser printer for his A7000+, but he wants to keep the existing colour inkjet as well (HP 670c I think). Is there a way to have both printers connected to the computer at the same time so that you can pick which one to use when printing something?

Unregistered user Probably the easiest way would be to buy a switch-box. I'm not sure how much they are - probably between 10 and 20 ukp.

I'll second that.

Think about the connectors you want. F'r instance, if they're all printer-end type, you will need two expensive printer-printer cables. All PC-end type means only one cheap PC-PC cable.
Make sure you get male/female right too. It will also depend on whether you might ever want to use the box the other way round, to share a single printer between two computers - this is difficult if your box has 1 printer-type in and 2 PC-type out. I went for all 3 the same as on the back of a PC and haven't looked back.
