Unregistered user Does the interface work correctly (eg with another drive)? does it spin when unplugged?
(from interface). Are the jumpers correct?

If you just need to recover data and the drive is siezed up, sharply rotating the drive in your hand can free it.
(A bit like giving it a thump, but with regard for the internal construction)
