Unregistered user Woo folks,

Ever since we started the Icon Bar I've been meaning to do a sort of "History of Acorn" using my own collection of hardware to illustrate it.

Trouble is that it took lots of time, I didn't have all the necessary computers, and there was lots of personal stuff I wanted to write down. So I've decided to host it on my own site, and put up what I've got so far (including the ArthurOS screengrabs from a machine I bought last week).

For laughs, contributions, disses, offers of cheap hardware etc. etc. take a look at http://www.houseofmabel.com/puters/ and let me know what y'all think. I'll get round to making it all look a bit prettier... sometime.

Cheers,
Rich.

Unregistered user What's up with your internet connection? Since about two weeks it's incredible slow (at least from Germany) ... I've tried out different providers (office LAN @ TECT, home access via Arcor) ...

Unregistered user I really should get round to adding some of the non-Acorn stuff for completeness, but somehow I just can't get myself quite so enthused about it...

The conection out has been slow for the past week, but speeded up yesterday, so I'm guessing that our leased line provider is cocking things up unhappy
