I always liked LIRC, but I don't think it's ever been 32-bitted. The last IRC client I used from a RISC OS box was actually running on a UNIX box, and accessed via Nettle.

There is a WIP version of LIRC which is 32bit and maybe even ARMv7 compatible:

Yes, I have it working on a Beagleboard. It generates an error message when it connects but clicking 'Continue' has it carry on without issue.

Haven't tested it in anger, though.

When you have registered for IRC and you have to identify with a password to use your nick
