Well, it's funny how life tends to come full circle after a period of time.
It's been 10yrs since i last visited this site according to my last post time - eek, my question then was how much is my A310 and associated bit worth, not many answered other that stick it on ebay, and so it has remained in my loft until 2 weeks ago when we got everything down in preparation to move house.
I removed it from it original packaging and plugged it all together, turned on monitor - green light, turned on A310, expecting that old faithful power-on bing, and what do it get - Nothing, dead as a doornail, it is an Ex A310, bereft of life, it has gone to sing in the choir eternal.....
Or has it???
I'm counting on you folks in the Icon Bar to help me bring her back to life.
Unfortunately, i left the cmos batteries in, so they had leaked a bit, but only affected the battery carrier.
As it has been so long since i last had her running i've pretty much forgotten everything i used to know about them (i did a fair bit of ARM Assembler programming etc and have the C compiler and RISCO 3 programmers refs books etc) and would lover to bring her back to life again.
She has yellowed a bit over time, but is still a great bit of kit, albeit not yet working.
Any help, assistance,. pointers or tips will be appreciated.
regards Gary |
