So Tim's introduced a new feature that means HTML tags only work if you also close them.

Which is great 'cos it means nutters like me will stop leaving open tag traps in posts just for the hell of it :E

However, (and I'm not sure if this is a side effect or a seperate issue) it seems you have to close the tag on the same line you opened it!

So italicising a few lines of text with character returns in won't work, even though I have closed the tag.

Yeah, that's a bug in my regexp, sorry :/. I'll fix that for the next version, but as a temporary fix, use < br > (minus spaces) for line breaks, as it's the newline character which buggers it up.
