Unregistered user In the physical layer definition of BRI at the S/T reference point, two bipolar violations signal the beginning of the frame. The first occurs exactly at the beginning of the frame and the second one is at a variable location but never later than the first L bit after the first B field octet. Can someone explain to me why this technique for locating the second violation is used instead of using a fixed position in the BRI frame for the second violation?
