Unregistered user I will be buying it, if it is on sale at the South West show, but only out of curiousity, and because I have an interest in Emulation.
I have no real wish to return to RISCOS3.1!

Unregistered user My A3010 is right next to my pc.
Thay both use the same zipdrive and monitor,
using switch boxes for each of them.
Thay communicate via the zipdrive.

To have the VirtualA5000 would probably
make it redundant, as I can not afford a new
machine. But I will not let go of It for anything.
I've had it for 10 years and done alot with It.

pc for games and internet, MP3s, a3010 still for the rest of the things I do.

Unregistered user No, I hadn't - thanks for the pointer. That's very shabby behaviour in my opinion (by VA) - John's been shafted over the years given how few regular users of Translator actually register it. To have a commercial company ride roughshod over the license agreement too is adding insult to injury.

Unregistered user According to the TIB news thread, VA thought they were distributing it under the terms of the license *alongside* their product, as often happens with this kind of license.
They apparently removed it pronto from the next production run.
Sounds pretty considerate to me. Why is everyone in the RISCOS world so jumpy these days? No major gaffes to grumble about, we have to invent them like a tabloid in August?

Unregistered user Have people seen John Kortink's posts to hardware, apps and misc? He's not happy... unhappy

Unregistered user I posted that before the news item - honestly, you should get me to do the news for this site! smile

Or maybe it's just because I've sat here not going to five CS lectures and need something to do, and trawling Usenet and generally being annoying on Iconbar are two of them...
