(g AND 48)*256

Then it intercepts the 8) and turns it into a smiley. This is bad.

Also I'm getting annoyed with the fact that certain characters (e.g. ~) stop the link detection.

Also the AA forum code is rather older than TIB's.

Also the AA forum is currently down, spewing out lots of errors when you try and look at it.

I'll try and remember to fix that in the next version. In the meantime you can get around the problem by using the HTML for those links instead.

As you've now realised the errors were there because I was upgrading it at the time smile.
