1) Even though I'm logged in, my password isn't auto filled when I post

That's due to the cookie change. Logout and log back in.

2) All the forums are marked as UNREAD even though they aren't, and the dates of last posts listed on http://www.iconbar.com/alpha-board/index.php3?
for example, don't correspond with the last posts when I look at the actual forums and threads.

That's 'cause I deleted all the 'hello' threads that were posted to each forum. It removes the threads but doesn't change the forum last post info, so the last poster and actual last poster won't match until someone posts a new thread.

OK, I've logged out and back in again, and the password thing is fine, but I still have the problem with all the forums being unread when they shouldn't be.
Happens whenever I restart Fresco.

Is this a cookie issue?

There is something very wrong.

OK, so I am using Fresco this evening (and I had no probs with IE at work today), but still, since you've *upgraded* this forum Tim, I'm having serious probs.

I.e. at the moment, Desktop on the above URL says that last post by:

Guy at 22:09 on 23/4/02

but when I view the forum and its threads on
http://www.iconbar.com/alpha-board/viewforum.php3?forum=desktop
the last post is by Rich at 10:30 on 22/4/02.

Boohoo.

Could be a caching issue. But then again, most things to do with Fresco are either caching or JavaScript issues, and there's no JavaScript here.

Quit the browser. Delete the cache manually. Delete your cookies file if possible. Use the link on the home page to go to the forum, as the URL with ?serve=cached on the end will always serve a cached version. Go back to home page. Go back to forums. It should have all the forums as being read. If not, rinse, repeat, or get a better web browser wink.

Now using I.E. at work. Better? Hmm... indiff

I've had the computer on and off and on again a few times. OK, I've not manually deleted the cache, but I know it's gone wink

I'll try what u suggest 2nite if I remember though, just to be sure... shock
