Here's something I can never get to work. It was on the Acorn User games CD but is missing a file called 'Musmod5'. I can't get it to work on RO4/SA even with patching but I did get a bit further in the loading process with A310em. Can anybody help?

IIRC MusMod5 is just a normal copy of MusMod (Or MusMod2000), but renamed. My copy of the game works, so I can send you a copy of either MusMod or the whole game if needed smile (I'm not sure where the patch I'm using is from, either the AU CD or here).

Could you send me the module and the patch (if you still have it separately)? Thanks.

The 'lemming2' patch supplied on the AU CD is the one which I'm using, and comes with a copy of musmodsc (aka musmod5). This patch gets the original floppy version of the game running fine on my OS 3.7 StrongARM; however I don't have the CD on me at the moment (Only the patches), so can't check whether my floppy version is the same as that on the CD. Note that you can also use the 'lemmings_tribes' patch if you want, since they're entirely identical apart from a note about L2Intro not working.

When you install the patch you'll also want to install the Patcher module too (found in the 'patcher' archive in the cheats dir.)

If that patch doesn't work than the one I linked to earlier might be an idea (Which according to the one on the AU CD is 'better'), although that's only listed as StrongARM compatible and not RISC OS 4.

I think the problem is RISC OS 4 as I've now tried all this and it just gets to the menu.

I've managed to get it working under A310em. You need to copy the musmodsc from the Lemmings2 patch into !system on A310em and change its name to musmod4. The game works but the music is not quite right. I'm not sure if that's the game expecting an older version of the music module or the A310em emulation but the game seems to be alright otherwise (apart from awkward scrolling control).
