A friend of mine is an Amiga fan - always prattlling on about how good the two graphics chips are. But does he have system-wide anti-aliased text? I don't think so. |

I would say both. Rich? Yes, that about sums it up.There were some concept designs for a new Amiga OS posted ages ago, I can't remember the URL but I've uploaded a copy to http://www.endoria.net/upload/index.php/1564394454 - these have been around for about a year IIRC, so why the sucky icons in the current version? |

So are Amiga's still being made and developed - or is it just the old OS that is being patched or emulated? |

Still looks crap compared to RISC OS. Have you tried editing the RISC OS wimp tool sprites yourself and using a transparent mask? |

Yes. It sucks. What does, Amigas or using a transparent mask in the RO wimp? |

And it's only 640x480 by the looks of things. Amiga: I know what! I'll make a nice new GUI, which has a 640x480 max resolution, with large fonts to make it easy to read but impossible to work with, and transparent multicolour windows so you can't tell what colour anything is because you can see straight through it! And I'll use .'s to seperate thousands instead of ,'s, so it looks like we have a millionth of the free memory we actually do have! That'll *really* get new customers coming to us |
